Leroo La Tau is situated on the western bank of the Boteti River, northwest of Khumaga Village and about 140 kilometres southeast of Maun. The eastern bank of the Boteti forms the boundary of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, which stretches away from the riverbank towards its interior of scrubland and mineral-rich grasslands.

We will be visiting Botswana in 2021 as part of our vegan world tour. We are spending 3 months in South Africa and will be based in Cape Town from July. We will incorporate a trip to Botswana at this time. It will be a guaranteed departure, as we are going ourselves to meet our local teams. For other trips, we will plan depending upon demand and can always organise personal small group trips.
Below are 2 tours that we have run in the past. They are totally flexible and can be customised as required. They can also be run back to back with one of our tours in South Africa
In 2022 we have a guaranteed departure for Ghana where we will be based ourselves for several months.

Our Safaris
Our Safaris
We offer a range of Safaris from classic style tented safaris, mainly in Botswana in the Okavango Delta Moremi, Savuti, Chobe and Kalahari national parks. We use 4x4 open safari cars, motor boats and also offer Mokoro trails (traditional dug out canoes) and Kayak adventure trails in the Okavango. We also have a range of hand picked safari lodges for exquisite luxury wilderness retreats. They are not exclusively vegan lodges but have been selected for their ability to prepare amazing vegan food and for their conscious practices towards the environment.
Please note we tailor all our safaris according to the group size and time of year. For the mobile safaris the prices do not vary from peak season to off season as the lodges do but it is best with a minimum of 4 people to keep the cost down.
